HTC just released their business mobile phones last August, the HTC S740 which uses 2 ways of input, keypad and sliding keyboard with QWERTY. The standard keypad has 12 buttons which located under the ideal screen in order to type short message with fast, meanwhile we can use QWERTY keyboard to write a long message text or e-mail.
Like other mobile phones with office abilities which always need speed access to communicate between relations, S740 is supported through HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps. Through the broadband technology, the users are spoiled when accessing e-mail, surfing on the net or using PocketIE application, finding address through Google Maps, writing blog, or watching a video in Youtube.
As a distributor application, S740 relies on Windows OS Mobile 6.1 version standard and Java MIDP 2.0 platform. And uses Pocket Office application for editing work document which supports Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF Viewer files.
At the back of the body, a camera of 3.2MP supported with auto focus and a flash. The camera results are stored in a 256 MB memory or easily added a bigger memory of microSD.
Meanwhile the TV Out facility can be used for a presentation via TV screen, but not included in the package. S740 supports WiFi facility, besides integrated GPS for searching the location, added an A-GPS feature to search coordinates with the support of GPRS signal.
